To get the Featured Content to work in your Wordpress themes, you must :
- Install the Featured Content Gallery Plugin from Wordpress
- Have at least 2 post to be featured
- Upload the required image to be used for the featured content
- Add the URL of the image in Custom Field with the name of articleimg in the posts to be featured
- Set appropriate width and height under Settings > Featured Content Gallery to be the same size as the images
- To feature spesific post, find the post ID by going to Post > Edit and click on the title of the post
Example : http://www.example.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=192
- The post ID in that example would be 192
- Specific post feature can also be done on Page

Chevereto is an open-source image hosting script that allows you to mount your own one-click image hosting on your server. It is very simple to use, you will love it by their appearance.
It allows you to resize images, verify its integrity and integrate it with url shorteners like TinyURL. And also, you can install Chevereto quickly, requires no database and is configurable.
Instructions covered here are for blogger tutorial on how to use blog skins. There are 2 options available for Blogger templates which is XML Template & Classic Template. To start using templates from Blogskins, you must revert your blog to use Classic Template
How to Use Blogskins?
- Go to Blogskins.com and choose the template that you want
- After you have chosen the template, download the skin by selecting Blogger Main from the Actions menu
- The file to be downloaded will be in *.txt format or should I say Notepad file?
- Sign in to your Blogger dashboard
- Go to Layout > Edit HTML
- Locate and click Revert to Classic Template at the bottom of page, just below Clear Edits, Preview & Save Template options
- Copy all the codes from the Blogskins *.txt file and paste it to Edit HTML
- Finally, click Save Template Changes
Emoticons can be used to replace your boring shoutbox so that users are more likely to leave some message in your blog. For this tutorial, we’ll be using shoutbox from Shoutmix. You need to sign up for the service first if you haven’t signed up yet
- Login to Shoutmix
- There will be 4 tabs available for you after logging in–Quick Start, General, Display & Security
- Under Display, choose Smileys
- Insert the URL of your chosen image under Smiley image URL
- Insert anything that represents the smiley under Code
- Let’s say for happy-faced emoticon you can use :) in Code
- or for sad-faced emoticon you can use :(
- Leave blank for (optional)
- Then, click Add
- Keep on adding emoticons if you want. The maximum limit is 10
- When you’re finished, click Save settings
